Meet Nessie, a special puppy looking for a special home!

Nessie is a sweet puppy with a unique start in life. Born with only half a front leg, she’s a little fighter with a big heart and a whole lot of love to give. Nessie needs a dedicated family who can provided her with the care, support, and understanding she needs to thrive.

Why is Nessie so special

She is full of puppy love despite her disability. Nessie is just like any other puppy, curious, playful, and eager to explore the world.

She has proven herself to be resilient and adaptable, she’s already showing her determination and resilience, and with the right care, she can live a happy and fulfilling life.

What Nessie needs

Nessie is looking for a special home where she will be loved and supported every step of the way. Her ideal family will be :

  • Patient and understanding as she navigates life with her disability.

  • Be committed to giving her love, training, and enrichment every puppy deserves.

  • Provide the care she may need as a disabled dog, including potential vet visits or adjustments at home to make her life comfortable and happy.

This little girl is bursting with love and potential. She may need extra care, but she’s worth it!

At just 8 weeks old, Nessie is at a critical stage for learning and development. She’ll need patient, loving families committed to raising her into a well-adjusted adult dog.

General needs for each puppy include:

  • Proper nutrition: high-quality puppy food to support her rapid growth and development.

  • Safe environment: Puppy-proof your home by removing hazards like wires, small objects, and toxic plants. Puppies explore their environment with their mouths, if it’s small enough they’ll have it!

  • Provide a comfortable quiet space for her to rest , as puppies need plenty of sleep.

    Socialisation

  • Introduce her to different people, other dogs, and various environments in a controlled way to build confidence and reduce fearfulness.

  • Positive interactions now will help her become well-rounded adults. VERY IMPORTANT!

    Additional Considerations

  • Time & Patience: Puppies require consistent training, supervision, and attention during their first year.

  • Committent: Adopting a puppy means a long-term responsibility, as they will grow into adult dogs that need care for their entire lives.

  • Family Fit: Consider your lifestyle and whether you have time, space, and energy for the puppies need.

Each puppy is eager to meet their perfect match. If one of these sweethearts sounds like the companion for you, please get in touch!
